Lok Kalyan Sansthan

Women, children and dalits are target groups as they mostly belong to marginalised and disadvantaged sections of the society. They have been deprived of their rights and basic amenities of life. Rationale of selecting women, as target group, is prevalence of dominant patriarchy in this region, which is responsible for the abysmal status of women in the region.

LKS strongly practices partnership approach and it does not perceives itself in the role of donor and recipient. The community is responsible for implementation of the interventions designed with a view for sustainable development of the community and their generation.
